The Island

Year 5 and 6 have just started exploring 'The Island' in English groups. We already have many questions and theories about who the mysterious man is, washed up on a raft on the shores of a strange island.
This week we thought about his life and how he may have come to appear on the island. We then went into role as the islanders to discuss what we should do about the man; should we send him back out to sea or take him in and help him?
We are looking forward to seeing what really happens next.
