Resurrection Evidence.

In RE in Year 6 we have been exploring the question of how Easter offers hope to Christians- as part of this learning we discussed accounts from the Bible linked to Jesus' Resurrection. We explored these accounts in detail and then took part in conversations around 'Resurrection Evidence'. These questions were not easy in many ways but encouraged us to think about different opinions and beliefs and to respectfully justify our own views.
The children were fantastic at listening to each other and considering multiple perspectives and the discussions around the classroom were mature and thoughtful. I was really impressed by their understanding of the Easter story and how much it means to Christians now and in Biblical times.
