Remembrance Day in 1B

Posted by Mrs Bradley on 12/11/20 at 11:15 AM

In Class 1B we have been learning all about Remembrance Day. On Wednesday morning at 11am we stood for 2 minutes, in silence to remember all of the soldiers who died in the war.

This week we made poppies. These are something that people wear for Remembrance Day. This year, we have made red and purple poppies. The purple ones are to remember all of the animals who helped during the war. There is also a white poppy that some people wear as a sign of peace.
