Good roots run deep

This week we have been thinking about how birthdays are celebrated. 

We began by reading 'Kipper's Birthday' and by sharing how we have celebrated our birthday's at home. We talked about the items associated with birthdays such as candles, cakes, birthday cards and banners, and made some of our own examples. We also made some yummy birthday cupcakes! 

To end our week we hosted a birthday party for our toys! We had lots of fun playing party games and eating our cupcakes.
