Nursery celebrate Shrove Tuesday

The Nursery children enjoyed celebrating Shrove Tuesday by making and tasting pancakes. We learnt about why Christians give up things for Lent and how traditionally pancakes are made to use up food that wouldn't be eaten during this time. The children enjoyed choosing their toppings for the pancakes - chocolate sauce was the most popular.
