Multiplication Investigation

On Friday, we had our first problem solving lesson of the year. The children were tasked with finding out the cost of making a sandwich for an entire class.
They were provided with a price list of ingredients and needed to think about the number of children in each class as well as the quantity of each ingredient they would need. Some groups also considered different dietary requirements that may be present within a class, and others chose to provide more than one sandwich option.
