Footsteps in Faith

Recently, we celebrated St. Paul's Week in school; a week to remember and reflect on the teachings of our school's Patron Saint. As part of the celebration every child in school from Nursery to Year 6 decorated a footprint outline.

Some children wrote and decorated their name; some drew or wrote something we can learn from St. Paul, and others chose a quote from Paul and shared what it meant to them. All of these footprints have now been used to create a huge, impressive whole school display. This really showcases everything we can learn from St. Paul, and how he can guide our actions and choices.

Paul took a long journey in faith and faced some incredibly difficult challenges. Despite this he kept his unwavering trust in God and rose above it all. We can all learn something from this and apply it to our own lives. Paul said we, "walk by faith, not by sight". This footprint display will be a reminder to all of us in school that we can do the same- keeping our faith in God and the people around us, and not giving up even when things are challenging.
