Exploring colour

As part of our Art topic, 6KL spent some time experimenting with powder paints. We mixed the powder with washing up liquid to make a thick paint and explored the consistency we thought it should have.
We then enjoyed blending and mixing some of the colours together to create colour palettes before having a go at recreating a small section of a Turner seascape.
It was lovely to see how engaged the children were and how interested they were in exploring a different type of paint.
