Good roots run deep

​This evening many of the staff spent some time decorating the school hall ahead of December. Part of this decoration included 'Christmas Portraits', created by pupils in each year group (including Nursery and Reception). Each year was given a key figure from the story of Jesus' birth, based on the Gospel according to Matthew. They were accompanied by a short explanation of why that person was so important to the 'Nativity' story. 

The portraits all look amazing, and together especially they really capture the story of the birth of Jesus. It is clear that the children worked really hard on them, and we can't wait for them to see them tomorrow.
