Ancient Greece workshop

To complete years 3 and 4's History topic, Ancient Greece the children participated in an Ancient Greece workshop.
The children learnt what life was like for children in those times, the different wars, weapons used, armour worn, games played and about the Olympics.
In the morning session the children played a game popular in those times, which is similar to chess, completed puzzles and took part in a quiz.
The afternoon involved story telling, pretending to be a warrior and having a mini olympics.
This was a fun packed day and all children enjoyed the experience.
