A day for bubbles and kites

Friday took a very autumnal turn and Reception took full advantage.
We spent the morning making bubbles using bubble wands and hoops and exploring how to blow the biggest bubbles. In the afternoon, when the wind picked up, we made kites from left over materials.
The children had a wonderful time exploring how high they could make their kites fly and were fascinated by the size of the bubbles made.
