3L see if they are green fingered

3L have been turning their hands to gardening in order to learn about plants for science. This week we weeded a flower bed to learn about roots. Next, we planted wild flowers and tomatoes from seed to begin learning about growing.
In class, our gardeners are caring for tomato and strawberry plants to find out why light, soil, water, heat and space are needed by plants for healthy growth.
