2V go to Syon House!
Last week, 2V went on a trip to Syon House!
We walked all the way there.
When we arrived, we took part in different workshops that were fun and very interesting--just look at how focused we are in the photos!
In one activity, we learned about household objects from the past and discussed what the modern day equivalents are. In another activity, we got to excavate artefacts and document them just like real archaeologists. In the portrait room, we discussed the clothing that people wore hundreds of years ago and why artists included certain objects in the paintings. We also went on a tour/scavenger hunt throughout the house.
We learned a lot and had a great time.
Many thanks to the team at Syon House for their wonderful enthusiasm, dedication and imagination. We always have an amazing day when we come visit.
