2B remember the fallen

Today we took the short walk to Brentford War Memorial to remember all the people who have died in war. The children all wore a poppy which we made in the class and we also took our own wreath with us. The children all helped to make the poppy wreath by colouring and drawing their own poppies. We wrote a class prayer and laid it by the memorial. The children were interested to look at the different names carved into the stone.
