Good roots run deep

Over the last couple of weeks, we have been learning about shapes in maths. We started by looking at 2D shapes and naming their properties. We then moved on to 3D shapes and we started to learn how to identify the properties of a 3D shape. In our lesson today, the children had to complete a 3D shape challenge. They have to use spaghetti and marshmallows to make a selection of different 3D shapes. The children found this very exciting but they found hard not to eat all the marshmallows!
