This week, we have looked at the different 3D shapes. We have learnt about the cube, cuboid, cylinder, sphere, square based pyramid and a cone. In class, we have discussed the different properties using the key words vertices, edges and faces.
On Friday, we were challenged to see which 3D shapes we could make in our tables. We found that the shapes with flat faces were the easiest to make, such as the cube and the cuboid. We were unable to make any shapes with curved faces, such as the sphere or a cone.
Take a look at our creations!
