Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly 2019

On Thursday 18th July Year 6 performed their Leavers’ Assembly. The assembly consisted of a performance of the childrens’ memories and learning in the theme of ‘I’m a Year 6, get me out of here!’ along with some poems and prayers written by the year 6 pupils. The cohort also sang an adapted song, which left a lot of the audience in tears!

It was a really successful and fitting end to their time at St. Paul’s and was a real testament to the hard work the children put into writing and rehearsing their plays and parts. A huge thank you to all of the family and friends who came along to support the children and wish them well; it makes it even more special for them.

After the assembly we hosted some adults vs. Year 6 games of cricket and rounders in the park before sharing a delicious BBQ feast in the playground. The children had a fantastic time and it was lovely to see so many people there having fun and celebrating a great year at school.

Whatever comes next for our Year 6 pupils we know they will achieve a great deal and cannot wait to see them again in the future. We are sure you will join us all at St. Paul’s in wishing them the best of luck at secondary school and to agree that they will be missed.
