Year 2 visit the old railway bridge

This week we are continuing to learn about the Victorians. Today we took a trip to the canal in Brentford and we walked underneath the old victorian railway bridge.The children were very excited when we stood underneath it as it is still a working track so a couple of trains travelled above us. The children were interested in looking at the canal, we talked about how the lock works and how the boats travel.
