Good roots run deep

Last week in our 5/6 Maths groups we were exploring time. The children were tasked to solve some time-related problems with a partner, trying to convert between different units of time. The children were having some fantastic discussions about their working out and I was really impressed with their concentration. 

The pairs managed to solve problems such as 'how many hours are in 12 days?' and 'how many seconds are in 4 hours?' by using their time knowledge.
