Good roots run deep

The nursery children (and their families)​ completed their first home learning task this weekend. Following our learning around "Can't You Sleep Little Bear?" the children were challenged to create a lantern. In the story the Big Bear helps Little Bear (who is afraid of the dark) by giving him lanterns. The children could choose any type of lantern they liked and decorate it. There was a wonderful variety of lanterns made including: Chinese paper lanterns, origami lanterns, decorated glass jars and many more. The children were all really proud of their work and keen to share it with the class.
