Good roots run deep

As part of our work on Victorians we have been learning about puppets and puppet shows. 

We watched a recording of a Punch and Judy show from 1859 and talked about the different characters. We then looked at different types of puppets such as hand puppets, finger puppets and string puppets. 

Then children created their own puppets. They chose their own character and added strings or lolly sticks depending on the type of puppet.
