Chess Champions

On Monday 18th March, we welcomed Ealing Cadets chess club to the school for an evening of competition. This is now an annual event in which Mr Pringle's after-school chess club relish the opportunity to test out their strategy and play on children from the Ealing Cadets club. It was wonderful to see the focus and concentration on show throughout the evening. Well done to the Cadets, who won more points on the night. However, the chance to play and hone skills in a friendly, competitive environment was just as important. Every child left the evening with a chess themed memento. We look forward to future evenings of chess.
