4J make a water cycle in a cup

At the end of their science topic on States of Matter 4J have learnt about the water cycle. They practised using vocabulary including evaporation, condensation and precipitation and then applied these to the water cycle. We then made mini water cycles inside cups. As the water inside the cup warms up it will evaporate and then condensate when it hits the colder cling film on the top. Once enough water droplets have gathered on the cling film it will "rain" back into the "sea" at the bottom of the cup.
