Year 2 take a trip to the Tower of London

Last Wednesday, KS1 had an amazing trip to the Tower of London. We took the train and then the tube, which the children throughly enjoyed. We then walked along the river to the Tower of London. As we walked, the children were excited point out all the London landmarks that they saw. Their favourite landmark was The Shard. At the Tower, we took part in a Fire! Fire! workshop, where the children learnt more about The Fire of London and the role that the Tower of London played. We were also luckily enough to see the Crown Jewels and to see a giant metal dragon!
We all had a fabulous day.
