Good roots run deep

Year 1 became scientists this week and learned about the different kinds of diets animals have. We learned about carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. The children couldn't observe animals, so we had to look at their poo (oatmeal, hot chocolate and coffee)! The children found grass and berries in the rabbits poo. They found beef and chicken in the dogs poo, and worms and berries the birds poo!
