KS2 were very lucky to have the opportunity to meet an Olympian called Chad Miller. Firstly he led an assembly in which he told them all about himself and what made him want to become a sprinter. He explained the sacrifices he’s had to make in order to be where he is today, the children were very shocked to hear that he can’t eat McDonalds.
After the assembly some classes had a workshop with Chad. The children were taught about racing, the position used to start and how to use their arms to gain more speed. The highlight for 4L was when Chad had a race with them.
