The Doctor Will See You Now

In Nursery this week we are basing our learning around the song "Miss Polly Had a Dolly". We have talked about the adults who look after us when we are hurt or unwell and have learnt about doctors and hospitals.
The children have really enjoyed role playing in our Baby Clinic, pretending to be doctors and nurses taking care of sick babies. They have taken temperatures and blood pressure, used stethoscopes to listen to heart beats, weighed and measured babies and applied bandages and given medicine.
It has been wonderful to see how calmly the children played together and their care for their "patients".
