Good roots run deep

This morning we launched Reading Week within school- to begin a week of lots of different activities, class teachers surprised the children by swapping classrooms to read stories to other children. Mrs Little was lucky enough to be able to go and read her favourite picture book, 'The Day the Crayons Quit', to 2B. They all really enjoyed reading the book together and had lots of giggles at the letters the crayons wrote. We even voted on whether we believed yellow or orange crayon is the "true colour of the sun". It was a lovely way to start the week, for both teachers and children! We look forward to seeing what activity comes next.
