Good roots run deep

Today, Reception began to think about the changing seasons. We read a story about a little acorn and went on a walk around St Paul's Park to look for signs of Autumn. 

We found a selection of different coloured leaves and looked at a holly bush, which is an evergreen. We saw an amazing spider in its web and talked about the shapes of the leaves. 

In the classroom we painted pictures using the leaves and drew our own pictures of leaves and trees.
