Good roots run deep

Year 1 had an exciting Reading Week! We began with a storyteller coming in who told us exciting stories from around the world. She told us the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff and the children had a chance to act it out. They then created their own bridges for the goats to cross over. The children brought in their favourite books and we acted out some of them together. 1L also created our very own story! They each wrote a page for our Brentford vs. Animals story where the Brentford football team and animals had a match to win over the stadium. Year 1 then ended the week with a special guest who came in to read the children her very own story!
