Good roots run deep

As part of the school wide Reading Week, Nursery are having DROP EVERYTHING and READ sessions throughout the morning. A timer is set to go off in the classroom every half an hour and the children are asked to put down whatever they are doing and pick up a book to look at. The chidren have enjoyed talking to each other about the pictures, looking for familiar letters such as the ones in their names and retelling the story if they already know it.
