Bess, the Landlord’s daughter

Today in our English groups we explored the character of 'Bess' from 'The Highwayman'. We mimed along to the poem and then created thought bubbles as Bess from different moments in the story. The children seemed to have a lot of fun (especially with the dramatic miming for the ending!) and could share a lot of interesting ideas about Bess and her feelings.
