A Platinum Week
Today we held our Platinum Jubilee day in school. The children came dressed as kings and queens; in red, white and blue or in Jubilee merchandise. In the morning they learnt about the Queen, her role in society, her life and family. Later in the day the children had a jubilee street party. There will no doubt be more pictures and news items from today in our news pages over the next few weeks. It was a wonderful day that should stay in the memory well into adulthood.
Earlier in the week our school choir joined choirs across the country in preparing a special version of the National Anthem to mark the Jubilee. This video is below and the whole event is captured at #ChoirfortheQueen
