5K’s Curriculum Enrichment Day

Last Thursday was curriculum enrichment day. We started the day by creating some observational sketches of some birds of prey and then carried out research some research on a variety of birds of prey for a ‘Top Trumps’ style game. In the afternoon we attended a workshop with a birds of prey handler, who showed us his barn owl. We finished the day with a flight demonstration during which an Eagle Owl named sway swooped over our heads.
