4L visit the birds of prey

Yesterday was Curriculum enrichment day in school. The Juniors enjoyed having a visit from some birds of prey. In workshops the children listened to a talk about the different bird types and enjoyed playing a matching game where they matched the feather to the correct bird picture, name and description.
In class the children drew birds of prey pictures for our display, researched facts about some birds and made some origami birds of prey.
The day ended with a junior assembly where the children found out about an eagle owl and watched it fly across the hall.
It was a fantastic day for all children and staff.
