Yummy Pancakes

To celebrate Shrove Tuesday the Nursery children enjoyed eating pancakes. They watched them being made and then enjoyed tasting them with sugar and lemon. Some of the children liked them more than others but everybody enjoyed the experience. We talked about where the tradition of pancake day came from and in our RE lesson learnt why some Christians give things up for Lent.
