Good roots run deep

Year 1 had an exciting first week back! We have been looking at the different seasons in Science and went for an Autumn walk to look for signs of Autumn. The children found leaves that have fallen and changed colour. We have also began our Art Topic where we have been looking at portraits of the Queen. The children studied her coronation portrait and learned of the important symbols. They then created their own crowns to wear if they were having their portrait taken.
