Year 6 Leavers Service
Year 6 have had a busy day today; this morning we filmed our Leavers assembly, which can now be found on your child's Google Classroom page. The children have worked really hard to write their short plays and learn their lines and we were really impressed by their final performance. We hope you enjoy watching it too!
This afternoon we signed t-shirts and then shared a delicious barbecue with drinks and cakes as well. The children all seemed to enjoy themselves and there were lots of smiles all around!
To end the afternoon we held our Year 6 Leavers service where the children received their Bibles, gifts from the Church and some certificates. Thank you to our Chair of Governors Glenn Greene for joining us, as well as Reverend Guinness and Tipi. Thank you also to the parents who were able to join us live via the Google meet link. It was really special for the children to still have you there, despite the ongoing restrictions. If you were not able to join us, a recording of the service is also on Google Classroom (apologies that the first couple of minutes are missing- technical difficulties!).
It was lovely to see the children receive their Bibles and gifts and to share their final photo presentation at the end of the day (also on Google Classroom!) It is a reflection of all of the hard work this year and the friendships and memories made during their time at St. Paul's.
