Last Thursday Year 5 led our harvest service, retelling the story of Boaz and Ruth. We explored the importance of generosity and sharing our good fortune with others and linked this to the amazing work of foodbanks across the country during the pandemic and the campaigning of Marcus Rashford. The children worked extremely hard to learn their lines and were really excited to be back in the church, performing in front of parents, families and the rest of the school.
We would like to thank all who were able to attend, as well as all who contributed to our harvest collection. We were overwhelmed by the incredible generosity of our school community. These gifts will be shared with vulnerable members of our community as well as our local foodbank.
