Year 2 Perform

To celebrate Make Music Day 2021 (21st June 2021), both Year 2 classes held a socially distanced public performance for the shoppers of Morrison’s.
We sang
-Count on Me by Bruno Mars
-We’re So Proud of Our School (by Out of the Ark Music)
- This Little Light of Mine by Harry Dixon Loes
-Stand by Me by Ben E. King
-You’ve got a Friend in Me from the film ‘Toy Story’
-Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles
It was cloudy and drizzling but the children had lovely smiles on their faces and brought joy and metaphorical sunshine to our audience.
We were also able to raise more than £54 for the music education charity 'Music for All', an organisation that supports disadvantaged music makers across the UK.
