There was hardly a dry eye in St Paul’s Church yesterday when Year 1 led the Christmas assembly with a moving retelling of the story of Jesus’s birth. The Bossy King described how one of the Three Wise Kings came to discover the Baby Jesus lying in a manger in a stable in Bethleham. The story was accompanied by beautiful songs which reminded us all about the message of Christmas. Afterwards the Reverend Simpson delivered a Christmas blessing. It was a joyful start to the season of goodwill and peace to all people!
