Using kitchen tools safety

In topic this half term the children are learning about where food comes from, how to prepare food and about using tools safely.
The children used knives to cut cucumber, carrots and potatoes, peelers to peel potatoes and carrots and a grater to grate carrots.
They especially enjoyed eating the cucumber and carrots at the end. Some boys also volunteered to wash up after the lesson.
