Reading is extremely important and has massive benefits for people of all ages!

Not only can learning how to read open up countless new worlds for you, it can also:

-improve your vocabulary

-give you new and interesting ideas

-make you more empathetic

-increase your general knowledge

-boost your confidence

-improve your spelling

-allow you to be more independent

We care about reading a great deal at St. Paul’s School.

We encourage all parents/carers to make reading every day a priority with their child, even if it is just 10 minutes before bed. The benefits are immeasurable.

Be sure to let us know how your child is getting on with their reading and tell us any interesting comments they made in your child’s red reading log.

Happy Reading!
