St Paul’s Race for Life

Last Friday the whole school took part in a Race for Life event. The School Council set the target of 600 miles for the whole school, by either running or walking around the park.

It was lovely to see all the children enjoying and challenging themselves to complete as many laps as possible. One girl in Reception managed to run 5 laps around the park without stopping. Such an impressive achievement! Nursery were lucky to have Year 5 and 6 walk around with them. The relationships between the year groups was great to see. Unfortunately the rain arrived in the afternoon, which meant two classes had to complete different physical activities instead, such as dancing and circuit training.

Thank you to all of those teachers and helpers who took part with the children. What we have achieved as a school is phenomenal!

The School Council will be counting the schools lap total soon to see if we have reached our goal.

Here are some pictures of the day. Please look in the Gallery for more.
