St Paul’s Activity Day 2015
The entire school has been involved in a number of fun and exciting activities today. We were joined this afternoon by the reception class from St Mary’s Free School in Norwood Green. The aim of the Activity Day is to encourage pupils to try different sports and to be active and healthy outside of the school curriculum. Pupils got to experience martial arts, bike racing and handball. In addition to this children all had the opportunity to create fruit smoothies by racing on smoothie bikes. We were lucky enough to have Dan McMillan, one of the 14 man squad to represent Team GB in the 2012 Olympics, here running the handball session. The children (and staff) had a fabulous day. Thank you to Miss James and Claire King from Sport Impact for organising such a wonderful day. We hope that the children have been inspired to take up some of the many sports available to them outside of school.
