Science investigators in 4L

This half term the children are covering the unit states of matter. They are learning all about solids, liquids and gases. What the particles are like when something is a solid, liquid or a gas and what objects come under these headings.
Last week the children planned an investigation to find out what makes ice melt the quickest. This week they worked in pairs to conduct their planned investigation.
Children investigated what happened if the ice was placed in a cupboard with no air, beside the laptop, under a cover, outside in the sunshine, on the radiator or when in a container with water.
