School Life in Lockdown - 1

We are now in our second week of national lockdown and school life is very different. The very great majority of children and many staff are now working remotely, using Google Classroom. We have the children of critical workers and vulnerable children in school, working with school staff on the remote learning. We have had lots of very kind feedback from families across the school for the hard work that has gone into the remote learning, the creation and distribution of work packs, the distribution of laptops, the rapid and informative communication and the provision of food parcels. This positive feedback means a great deal to us all and we are very grateful.

We have also had a number of offers of support from our local community, showing once again how supportive the people and businesses of Brentford are.

Next week our second block of learning will start. Families are being invited (over the next few days) to collect textbooks and exercise books, with a range of work packs being printed and distributed for classes across the school.
