School Closure Announcement

Yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, The Prime Minister announced the indefinite closure of schools across the UK as part of the government’s response to the Coronovirus. This will effect the vast majority of families who will be expected to keep their children away from school. He went on to describe support for Key Workers and vulnerable children. The extent and nature of this support is still unclear and we await further details from HM government. Mr Wright sent an email to parents and carers yesterday evening. We will use our email service to communicate updates. We anticipate daily updates for the next few days as the details of closure become clearer. Please do not call the school office, unless you have an urgent query or problem – so that we can work on implementing the necessary changes effectively.
