Row, row, row your boat

Over the past few weeks we have been learning about different homes and houses. Last week we went for a walk about Brentford and this week we went to Brentford Lock to look at the houseboats. The children were able to identify the different features of a houseboat and talk about what it might be like to live on one. We also celebrated Chinese New Year. The children make paper dragons, Chinese bookmarks and then we tasted some noodles and prawn crackers. The children even tried to use chopsticks! They all loved the Chinese food and most asked for more.
