Reception celebrate Shrove Tuesday

On Tuesday the two Reception classes came together to learn about Shrove Tuesday. They learnt about why this is a Christian celebration and what it means to them. The children had fun making and tasting pancakes. They could have pancakes with jam, sugar or lemon juice on. Mrs Barry even showed her skills to the children by tossing a pancake.
